Presidents Report August 2017

7 Aug 2017 by Noble Park FC

With the Season quickly coming to an end it is time to reflect on our Season so far on and off the field.
Firstly, off the field I am thrilled to say that our Membership, Sponsorship, Luncheons & Apparel sales are at very good levels. This is mainly due to your Committee and Volunteers creating a Club environment that all stakeholders are happy to be a part of and the willingness to continue to be involved at any level. The feedback we have received in relation to some initiatives delivered has been pleasing and we will continue to listen to your feedback, good or bad.
Our vision from the start was always to create a Footy Club that is welcoming for not only Players but to Family, Friends, Supporters & Sponsors. We will continue to focus on this and will always try to improve on how we go about things.
Hundreds of volunteer hours are put into the Club to make all of this happen and we are lucky to be surrounded by selfless people who do this so willingly.  A huge thank you to everyone involved.

On the Field we sit fairly comfortably in the Top 5 in the Under 19’s with the Reserves fighting for a position in the Final 5. After a couple of losses recently the Seniors now have a fight on their hands to secure a Top 5 position.
Although very young the Reserves continue to develop and are giving themselves every opportunity to play Senior Footy. The Under 19’s have carried on their good form from last year and certainly show signs of being a huge part of our future. The Under 17’s found themselves in a very strong competition but it has been a good learning experience for all. Although they missed Finals the future of the Club is in good hands.
With a few injuries this has given opportunities to Players and it is pleasing to see they have grabbed their opportunities and shown enough that they can cope at that level. The Footy club is encouraged by the Youth and what they are capable of and this is very encouraging for the future. This is reflected by the participation numbers we’ve had and the age of the Senior group. We have played thirty three (33) in the Seniors which includes ten (10) first gamers under the age of 20.
We now set ourselves for the remaining Games left of the Season to establish ourselves in the Top 5 in the Seniors and to aim for another Finals series. Although disappointing to drop the last 2 games the Club, now more than ever, need to stick together and support the Coaches & Players to ensure we give them every opportunity to gain the necessary results. With hard work I’m confident we can finish the year off well and achieve this.
Our Coaching Staff continue to work closely with the players to develop them for not only this year but into the future.

We look forward to your continued support and to get behind the Footy Club in any way you can.

Go Bulls
